Dr.
Keesari has been in private practice, and has
worked as a Consultant to several Children's
Mental Health Agencies in the GTA, for over 40
years. He provides psychiatric assessment &
treatment of childhood psychiatric disorders,
including, Attention Deficit, Anxiety,
Depression, Mood and Behavioral disorders in
children from age 2 to 14 years. Treatment
interventions are a combination of brief
Individual and Family Therapy with parental
support. Drug therapy is implemented and
monitored only when indicated and appropriate.
Dr. Keesari is able to provide treatment in
English, Urdu, Hindi and
Telugu.
Dr. Keesari is a member of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Licensed to practice Medicine by The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, Life member of the Ontario Medical Association, Life member of the American Psychiatric Association, and member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He has also held a Faculty appointment as Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. Dr. Keesari will be working out of the Markham Psychologists offices on a once a week basis on Wednesdays from 9.00 am till 5.00 pm. All services provided are covered by OHIP, with no extra billing charges. Only medical referrals are accepted. Please fax your referrals to (905) 472-7945.
