SERVICES
Bryanna completed her Master’s degree in Clinical
Psychology at Windsor University, and her Bachelor’s
degree at the University of Toronto. Her thesis work
investigated how ones’ emotional and executive
functioning capacity relate to cognitive assessment
findings. Throughout her career she has worked with
at-risk youth facing numerous challenges such as
homelessness, addiction, and mental illness. She has
engaged in numerous research projects on topics related
to self-harm, suicidality, and cognitive functioning in
youth and adults. She has presented at numerous
scientific conferences and co-authored research on
topics ranging from treatment effectiveness to cognitive
impairment.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Bryanna is in the process of registering with the
College of Psychologists of Ontario as a Psychological
Associate. As part of the rigorous registration process,
Bryanna has been conducting assessments and providing
therapy under the supervision of a registered
Psychologist.
At Markham Psychologists, Bryanna conducts comprehensive
empirically-based assessments to help individuals gain
an understanding of their presenting difficulties,
inform the treatment process, and access appropriate
emotional and/or educational supports. She has
experience in the assessment of learning disabilities,
as well as intellectual and developmental disabilities
(e.g. ADHD) with children, adolescents, and adults.
APPROACH
Bryanna also provides therapy for children, adolescents,
and adults. She has experience in presenting problems
related to anxiety, panic, obsessive-compulsive
behaviour, depression, suicidal ideation and self-harm,
as well as behavioural and emotional dysregulation.
Bryanna’s approach to therapy is eclectic (combining
multiple therapeutic perspectives). She primarily uses a
Cognitive-Behavioural approach while integrating Family
Systems and Humanistic therapies, Emotion-Focused work,
Play Therapy, Mindfulness, and Acceptance-Based
practices.
ABOUT
Bryanna believes in the innate worth and potential of
every person. This allows her to see each client as
unique and important. She approaches assessments and
therapy non-judgementally, with honesty, and integrity.
She strives to maintain a balanced lifestyle herself; in
her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her loved
ones, being physically active, or painting.
